Threat Level Gaming Tryout Information

Introduction: 

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are Threat Level Gaming, home of the most Threatening athletes in Mobile Gaming. TLG is a full-fledged eSports company with eSports teams in Clash Royale, Call of Duty: Mobile, Brawl Stars and more.

TLG has a World Championship team in Clash Royale and we are looking to expand into Brawl Stars with the same strength and presence.

One of the things that differentiates us as an organization from others is our focus on helping players transform from highly talented players in the semi-professional circuit into professional players with high name recognition in the global community through marketing, branding and coaching.

There have been spots that opened up on the Threat Level Gaming Pro Roster and Academy roster. We will be looking to fill 1 spot on the pro roster and 2 Spots on the academy roster. With that being said we are looking for 3 highly skilled Brawl Stars players to compete in the 2022 competitive scene under our organization. will be hosting a 3 day tryout that will put your skills to the test. Below we will provide the specific information that you need to know if you would like to be a part of the roster. 

Tryout Requirements:

• • Must be 16 years or older come January 1st. (if this is a problem and you will be eligible to play come the start of the season please DM Crysoul) 
  • Must be from NA region
  • Must show a picture of your in game profile. 
• Note: anyone who meets these requirements are allowed to sign up for tryouts but not all may be accepted into tryouts. (We know what we are looking for)

Tryout Information: 

Note: All tryout times are PST time zone

Tryout dates and times:

1. Day 1: Saturday, December 18th from 1:30 PM - 3 PM PST
2. Day 2: Sunday, December 19th from 2PM - 3:30PM PST
3. Day 3: Monday, December 20th From 4PM - 5:30PM PST

Tryout Length:

1 hour 30min each day 

Note: Tryout start times are subject to change depending on tryout staff availability 

Tryout sign up information: 

Each participant will sign up individually for each day. If you sign up for one day that doesn't mean you have signed up for all the days. Sign ups will close 1 hour before tryouts. Tryout teams will be updated throughout the upcoming weeks with the final teams finalized as soon as tryout sign ups close. You will be informed at least 24 hours before the tryout day if you have been accepted to tryout unless you sign up within the 24 hours. You will be notified ASAP.  

Note: signing up for tryouts does not mean you will be accepted to tryout. This may be because of 2 reasons. You are not the player we are looking for, or because we have a limited number of tryout spots and we need to rotate other players in the tryout cycle. 

Tryout Format:

Note: All forms of communication is to be done through the server channels NOT in DM unless instructed otherwise. 

The Tryout will consist of 3 days and 3 different stages. You do not have to attend all 3 days but it is in your best interest to be there for all three tryouts. Each tryout day will be relatively the same. There will be a maximum of 6 teams with a maximum of 3 players on each team plus a team captain. Each team will have one designated team captain (our current players on our roster Crysoul, DocUndeadFlame, Calypso, Filo, DangerDude (our manager) and Cyfy helping out) who will be incharge of creating teams, reporting scores, scoring you guys, and creating the team game rooms so we can play. Depending on how many players are on each team the team captain will either play or just spectate the matches. You guys will be scored based on your skills, your brawler arsenal (how many brawlers can you play well), your Communication skills, and your knowledge of the game. 

Stage 1: 

Teams will be different every day. For the first 2 days you will all play 3-5 matches against the different teams competing. Matches will be 3 sets 3 different game modes 2 wins = set win. The final day will be a mini tournament with 2 different pools. Each pool will have 3 teams and matches will be played only to 1 set but 3 wins = set win. These games should go quickly and top 2 teams will be in the winners bracket and the 3rd place teams will face each other in the losers final. Loser final is 5 sets 2 wins = set win. Winner semi final is 3 sets 2 wins = set win and the winner's final will be 5 sets 2 wins = set win. 

The players we choose to continue to evaluate will be pinged in the #tryout announcements. If you are not pinged that means we have not chosen you to be apart of the team. 

Stage 2: 

After the 3 day tryout is over we will take the top players from the tryout and bring them to team scrims, play ladder matches and power league matches to further evaluate them. After stage 2 is over each participating member will receive a DM from Crysoul regarding if you were one of the three we have chosen. Even if you were not chosen you will receive a Dm regardless.  

Stage 3:

Eliminations will be made and we will have 3 players left. In this final stage we will continue to evaluate and decide which player made the pro roster and which has made the academy team testing you guys out with both our pro roster players and our academy players to see how well you perform with each other. Offers will be made only through DM. every other bit of communication will be through the server unless instructed otherwise. 

Note: Each player that has made a team will receive a contract from the players (not the org) upon being offered a spot on the team.
